Ever since middle school, when I read a family member's Introduction to Psychology textbook, I've been deeply interested in all things psychological. At Duke University I graduated with a major in psychology and a certificate in neuroscience.  My medical school experience at University of California, San Francisco led me to enter psychiatry. I trained at Columbia University/New York State Psychiatric Institute in the child track, which combined adult and pediatric training over 5 years, the last year of which I was co-Chief Fellow of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program. After completing training, I co-created a clinic for consultation-liaison pediatric psychiatry at Columbia and started my practice. Later, I completed the Master Psychopharmacology Program at the Neuroscience Education Institute and became a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, after more than 10 years of membership.  I have special interest and experience in treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, trauma, and psychotic disorders.

Feel free to ask me any other questions about my background and experience.
